Mom-to-Mom Program
This free program on pregnancy and parenting is designed to help you build your parenting skills through learning. As you learn, you also earn items, such as clothing, bedding, bottles, toys, and equipment for your baby.
After completing the Mom-to-Mom client registration form, you will be assigned to a peer counselor and an initial meeting will be scheduled. After your situation and due date are assessed, the peer counselor will make a personalized lesson plan to attend parenting classes.
You will be meeting on a regular basis with the same peer counselor and will develop a meaningful relationship based on respect and trust. The program consists of a series of lessons, videos, discussions, and homework. As you attend a class, complete a lesson, watch a video, read a book, complete a homework assignment, keep your prenatal appointments, or attend church; you earn "Mommy Dollars" which are redeemable in our Baby Boutique. You may redeem those "Mommy Dollars" as soon as you start earning them, or choose to accumulate them for a more expensive purchase. The lessons take you from the first trimester through delivery and the first years of your baby's life. Some of the topics covered include:
